Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Snowflake Architect with a strong technical background and solutionshaping orientation to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Snowflake architecture excellent communication skills and the ability to analyze both technical and business requirements to design optimal solutions. As a Snowflake Architect you will play a crucial role in selecting the right technologies shaping solutions and providing technical guidance to meet our clients needs.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and advise on the implementation of the customers Snowflake platform
- Demonstrate technical leadership through personally developed code solution architectures and implementation recommendations
- Act as a trusted advisor to customer executive leadership for thought leadership and solution approaches
- Extract business requirements from customers and translate them into a wellarchitected recommendation
- Develop and provide forward looking guidance and future state roadmaps
- Leverage known best practices and solutions to reduce risk to customer implementations
- Decompose future state goals into actionable execution plans
- Collaborate with Snowflake GTM and product teams to ensure customer alignment to Snowflake goals
- Work closely with frontend developers designers and product managers to understand requirements and deliver highquality features.
- Lead in Developing Project requirements for endtoend Data integration process using ETL for Structured semistructured and Unstructured Data.
- Make necessary ongoing updates to modeling principles processes solutions and best practices to ensure that the Snowflake is aligned with business needs of the environment.
Requirements
- 8 years of experience implementing data management solutions .
- Management consulting experience.
- Expertise in Snowflake concepts like setting up Resource monitors RBAC controls scalable virtual warehouse SQL performance tuning zero copy clone time travel and automating them.
- Experience in handling semistructured data (JSON XML) columnar PARQUET using the VARIANT attribute in Snowflake.
- Experience in in reclustering of the data in Snowflake with good understanding on MicroPartitions.
- Experience in Migration processes to Snowflake from onpremises database environment.
- Experience in designing and building manual or auto ingestion data pipeline using Snowpipe.
- Experience in Cloud technologies such as AWS S3 SQS EC2 Lambda Redshift RDS
- Design and Develop automated monitoring processes on Snowflake using combination of Python PySpark Bash with SnowSQL.
- SnowSQL Experience in developing stored Procedures writing Queries to analyze and transform data.
- Certified Snowflake cloud data warehouse Architect (Desirable).
8+ years of experience implementing data management solutions . Management consulting experience. Experience in Cloud technologies such as AWS S3, SQS, EC2, Lambda, Redshift, RDS Design and Develop automated monitoring processes on Snowflake using combination of Python, PySpark, Bash with SnowSQL. SnowSQL Experience in developing stored Procedures writing Queries to analyze and transform data. Certified Snowflake cloud data warehouse Architect (Desirable).
