Job Description
As a Program Coordinator you will play a crucial role by providing compassionate care while enhancing the quality of life for individuals with disabilities. This is not a supervisory role. However the PC is the lead staff for one residential InHome program.
What You Get to Do:
- Document and followup of individual and program related needs.
- Ensure compliance with policies and Washington Administrative Rules.
- Oneonone training of DSP staff.
- Provide handson assistance encouragement mentoring and guidance.
- Ensure the comfort safety and personal growth of the individuals we serve.
- Assist with daily living tasks such as moving around getting in and out of bed dressing bathing personal hygiene and more.
- Light housekeeping tasks and meal preparation.
- Build relationships with persons served and teammates.
- Attend community outings and fun activities like outdoor walks games and social events.
- Transport clients to appointments or other activities outside the home.
- Empower people with disabilities to live life to the fullest.
- Document progress milestones and action steps.
Qualifications :
What Makes You A Great Fit:
- 2 years of caregiving experience required
- NAR Diabetic Preferred
- Observant and detailed oriented
- Dependable adaptable and flexible
- HS Diploma or GED required
- Valid drivers license required
- 21 years or older
