Key Responsibilities for a CT MRI Technologist
- Operate CT and MRI equipment to capture clear and accurate diagnostic images.
- Collaborate with radiologists to understand imaging requirements and patient histories.
- Position patients and ensure their comfort and safety during procedures.
- Maintain and calibrate imaging equipment and adhere to radiation safety protocols.
- Accurately document patient information and image analysis for radiologists review.
- Provide compassionate patient care by addressing concerns and explaining procedures.
Schedule and Shift Details
This is a fulltime position offering flexible scheduling including potential evening or weekend shifts to meet departmental needs.4 X 10s MondayThursday 8am6pm
Qualifications and Requirements
- Associate or Bachelors degree in Radiologic Technology or a related field.
- Valid ARRT certification in CT and/or MRI and state licensure where applicable.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a CT or MRI Technologist preferred.
- Strong understanding of crosssectional anatomy and imaging techniques.
- Excellent communication skills to interact with patients and the healthcare team effectively.
