Job Summary:
As a Data Analyst you will be responsible for interpreting data analyzing results and providing insights to help support decisionmaking within the organization.
Job Responsibility:
- Collecting and analyzing large sets of data to identify trends and patterns
- Interpreting data and analyzing results using various statistical techniques
- Developing and implementing data analyses data collection systems and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality
- Acquiring data from primary or secondary data sources and maintaining databases/data systems
- Filter and clean data by reviewing computer reports printouts and performance indicators to locate and correct data quality issues
- Work closely with management to prioritize business and information needs
Candidate Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Mathematics Statistics Computer Science or related field
- Proven work experience as a Data Analyst or in a similar role
- Technical expertise regarding data models database design development data mining and segmentation techniques
- Strong knowledge of and experience with reporting packages (eg. Business Objects) databases (SQL etc.) programming (XML Javascript or ETL frameworks)
- Knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analyzing datasets (Excel SPSS SAS etc.)

4. Knowledge of statistical methods and techniques

8. Problemsolving and critical thinking abilities
9. Familiarity with data mining and machine learning algorithms
