Job Description
In this role the Environmental Technician II will perform routine and frequent manual and heavy labor tasks to properly treat store pack move and/or dispose of hazardous waste in accordance with environmentally responsible and costeffective practices along with Clean Earth policies and procedures.
Primary Responsibilities (Essential Functions):
- Supervise and operate fork trucks and other heavy equipment when properly trained to move materials for storage / loading and offloading / production
- Collecting samples of inbound waste for laboratory analysis
- Complete required paperwork in accordance with our practices and procedures
- Perform other reasonably related tasks as assigned by management.
- Performs other reasonably related duties as assigned by management.
- Separate and pack materials for transport and disposal
Qualifications :
Basic Required Qualifications:
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- 1 years related work experience
- Ability to operate equipment including a forklift and pallet jack
- Have the ability to read write and speak in English
- Ability to wear company provided personal protection equipment including eye protection steel toed shoes hard hat gloves Tyvek coveralls and respirator
Preferred Qualifications:
- 2 years of experience sampling and receiving hazardous waste
