We are seeking a highly organized and detailoriented purchasing and logistics coordinator to join our team. In this role you will play a vital part in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our purchasing processes. You will be responsible for the procurement process and oversee logistics operations ensuring materials are delivered on time.
Preferability for Bahrainis.
Key Responsibilities:
Generate purchase orders based on inventory levels and project requirements.
Ensure that all purchase orders are accurate and comply with company policies.
Oversee the logistics process from order placement to delivery at the destination.
Track shipments and manage any issues that arise during transit.
Collaborate with freight forwarders to arrange transportation of materials.
Negotiate shipping rates and ensure compliance with import/export regulations.
Communicate with suppliers to confirm order details and delivery schedules.
Build and maintain relationships with suppliers to enhance procurement effectiveness.
Work closely with sales engineers to understand material requirements for projects.
Provide timely updates to sales teams and engineers regarding order status and delivery timelines.
Maintain accurate records of purchase orders shipping documents and supplier communications.
Prepare reports on purchasing activities inventory levels and logistics performance.
Address any discrepancies or issues related to orders deliveries or quality of materials.
