Job Description
The role of the Mental Health Educator will play a crucial part is collaborating with a multidisciplinary team and key project stakeholders to establish a Mental Health Framework for patients. The stand up of this service will require Mental Health SME input into all aspects of developing a Primary Health Mental health service including but not limited to eMRS workflows training and education policies and procedures and clinical treatment pathways. The role will additionally be supporting a setup of a Virtual Care Centre clinical operations department.
Qualifications :
To be considered:
- Bachelor of Nursing with postgraduate qualifications in Mental Health Nursing
- Current unconditional AHPRA registration
- Min 5 years of clinical experience working in Mental health preferably in a forensic setting
- Strong understanding of mental health assessment tools diagnostic criteria and evidencebased treatment modalities.
- Experience with electronic medical record systems preferably in a healthcare setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
- Demonstrated ability to write clinical policies and procedures
