Job Description
Our SMSF Specialist Team supports clients managing their compliance and advisory in relation to their SelfManaged Superannuation Funds (SMSFs). We are a national team with deep experience in administration compliance and strategic legislative advice in relation to all rules and regulations that apply to SMSFs. We continue to look ahead and collaborate with the other service lines in the business to support clients in their continually business success and growth. We are equipped to decisively deliver new ways of thinking bigpicture perspectives and acute insights that help clients make informed.
Your Opportunity
With continued growth we are now looking to recruit a Senior Advisor/Senior SMSF Administrator to join our SMSF Specialist Team in either Parramatta Brisbane or Melbourne:
- Work closely with the management team to facilitate the preparation of SMSF workpapers including management of queries from offshore processing team over several portfolios both locally and interstate.
- Work closely with the management team to meet internal KPIs and lodgement due dates.
- Liaise with external legal team to facilitate the setup of new SMSFs Bare trusts and other legal documents required within the SMSF space.
- Proactively liaise with external auditors ATO and internal stakeholders so as ensure exceptional outcomes and quality of work.
- Further develop your technical expertise working across services including tax and accounting compliance and business/tax advisory work for middle market clients.

Qualifications :

- Minimum two years experience in SMSF administration within an accounting firm
- Ability to work with timelines and manage multiple tasks
- Working towards CA or CPA qualified is desirable but not required
- Experience working with an offshore provider is advantageous
- Passion/desire to work exclusively within the SMSF team as an SMSF specialist
