Job Description
Western Digital is setting up a Global Creative Development Centre in Bangalore. We are hiring Creative Directors Copywriters Video Creators and Art Directors to develop digitalled campaigns for the Western Digital product brands for B2B and B2C markets across the globe. To be developed in partnership with our global marketing team and the creative team in Bangalore these campaigns will extend across multiple media formats including print outdoor packaging and interactive.
We are seeking a talented and driven copy CD to join our global marketing team in Bangalore India. As a CDCopy you will work closely with our creative team to write and create digital and print assets for our global campaigns.
Responsibilities:
- Create compelling digitalled creative campaigns with a strong storyline for a global audience basis the brief for global markets.
- Demonstrate very good writing and ideation capabilities for a digital and mainline media.
- Write clear concise and persuasive copy for a range of materials including
video scripts product descriptions packaging brochures banners and product campaigns. - Familiarity with Gen AI tools like ChatGPT.
- Collaborate with our global marketing team to ensure that all copy is consistent with our brand voice and messaging documents.
- Use insights from our research and marketing team to understand our target audience and develop copy that resonates with them.
- Proofread and edit copy to ensure accuracy grammar and spelling.
- Support the process of translating approved copy into required languages for global use.
- Stay uptodate with industry trends language usage and marketing techniques to continuously improve your copywriting skills and output.
- Participate in creative brainstorming sessions and provide ideas for new product campaigns.
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree or equivalent skills and experience in English Journalism Marketing or a related field.
- Around 10 years of professional experience in copywriting preferably in a reputed advertising agency.
- Should have worked on reputed brands in a digital agency. And ideally must have worked on a tech brand as well.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating a range of copywriting skills and techniques for static and video assets across a range of platforms.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English along with an ability to present well is essential.
- Ability to work in a global team environment and collaborate with crossfunctional teams.
- Understanding of brand messaging tone and voice.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
- Experience with SEO best practices and incorporating keywords into copy.
