The Opportunity Prime Workforce is currently recruiting for a Graduate Roads Engineer to join BEAR Scotland s team. Based in their North West Network team this role offers a fantastic opportunity for a recent graduate to contribute to road maintenance and improvement projects while receiving training and development in all aspects of road engineering. Key Responsibilities As a Graduate Roads Engineer you will: Assist in the Design and Maintenance of Roads: Support senior engineers in the design maintenance and upgrading of road infrastructure projects including the preparation of technical reports designs and plans. Survey and Inspection Support: Participate in road condition surveys inspections and assessments to identify issues and propose solutions. Assist in Project Management: Support the planning coordination and delivery of road maintenance and improvement projects including liaising with contractors and suppliers. Compliance and Standards: Assist in ensuring compliance with technical standards and guidelines related to road design construction and maintenance. Collaboration: Work closely with multidisciplinary teams including other engineers project managers contractors and clients. Document Management: Assist in the production and management of project documentation ensuring proper recordkeeping and version control. Skills and Experience To succeed in this role you will bring: Qualifications: A degree in Civil Engineering or a related field. Technical Knowledge: Basic understanding of road design and construction principles and a willingness to develop expertise in road infrastructure. Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work effectively in teams. ProblemSolving Ability: An analytical approach to problemsolving with attention to detail. Adaptability: A proactive flexible attitude and the ability to learn quickly in a fastpaced environment. Driving Licence: A valid UK driving licence is desirable.
