Job Description
We are seeking a detailoriented and analytical Production Planner to join our team in Shanghai China. As a key member of our manufacturing operations you will be responsible for optimizing production schedules managing inventory levels and ensuring efficient resource allocation to meet customer demands.
- Develop and maintain production schedules using advanced planning software and techniques
- Analyze production data and market trends to forecast future demand and adjust plans accordingly
- Collaborate with supply chain procurement and manufacturing teams to ensure smooth production flow
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with suppliers to maintain optimal stock
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance production efficiency and reduce costs
- Prepare and present regular reports on production performance and key metrics
- Ensure compliance with Chinese manufacturing regulations and quality standards
- Participate in crossfunctional meetings to align production plans with overall business objectives
- Troubleshoot and resolve productionrelated issues in a timely manner
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management Operations Management Industrial Engineering Data Analytic.
- 510years of experience in production planning or a related role within the manufacturing industry
- Proficiency in production planning software ERP systems and MRP
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills including data analysis and forecasting techniques
- Strong understanding of supply chain management principles and lean manufacturing concepts
- Knowledge of Chinese manufacturing regulations and standards
- Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills with a keen attention to detail
- Strong organizational abilities and capacity to manage multiple priorities efficiently
- Effective communication skills in both English and Mandarin Chinese
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fastpaced dynamic environment
- Experience with continuous improvement methodologies (e.g. Six Sigma Kaizen) is a plus
