Job Description
Clifford Chance is seeking a highly motivated and skilled General Banking Associate to join our prestigious Global Financial Markets practice in Hong Kong. The successful candidate will work on a variety of complex finance transactions including leveraged and acquisition finance private credit & direct lending project finance real estate finance and restructuring. This role offers the opportunity to work with a dynamic team on highprofile transactions for a global client base.
Key Responsibilities:
- Draft review and negotiate a broad range of financing documents.
- Conduct legal research and provide advice on a variety of financerelated legal issues.
- Participate in structuring negotiating and executing finance transactions.
- Work closely with partners counsels and senior associates and clients to ensure transactions are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Coordinate with other practice areas and offices to provide comprehensive legal services to clients.
- Manage and mentor junior associates and trainees.
- Contribute to business development activities including client presentations and pitch documentation.
- Stay abreast of legal developments in finance law and contribute to the firms knowledge management.
Qualifications :
Qualifications:
- Qualified lawyer with 2 5 PQE in a common law jurisdiction
- Strong academic credentials from a reputable law school.
- Experience in a leading law firm with a recognised finance practice.
- Excellent legal skills including a strong understanding of finance law and practice.
- Ability to handle complex legal issues and transactions.
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment.
- Proficiency in English is required; additional language skills particularly Mandarin or Cantonese are highly advantageous.
- Commitment to highquality work and attention to detail.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Proactive selfmotivated and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
