Job Description
OVERVIEW:
Synergy Sports is in search of Live Stream Camera Operators to assist with video capture and live streaming of youth basketball games and events in your area!
DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
- Setup and break down of camera/streaming equipment for an assigned court or venue. (Synergy Sports will provide all equipment & training)
- Video capture of all games on one court for the duration of the event.
- Live stream management of all games on one court for the duration of the event.
- Assist the Production Lead with video file transfers and management.
- High volume video capture for events with backtoback games.
- Other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum Qualifications:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Detail oriented.
- Dependable and reliable.
- Willingness to work weekends.
- Ability to lift 35 pounds.
- Ability to stand for long periods of time.
- Familiarity with camera/streaming equipment (tripods cameras laptops cabling etc.)
- 18 years or older
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience with sports video capture/live streaming.
- Knowledge & understanding of the sport of basketball.
- Transportation to/from Gymnasium.
***Live Stream Camera Operators are compensated $25 per game. Approximately 810 games per day; however the number of games will vary by location and event. Hours will be approximately 8:00am 8:00pm but subject to change.
**Hired camera operators will receive remote training prior to the event and onsite training from the Production Lead.
