Job Description
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Weekend Care Assistant to join our team in Havant United Kingdom. As a Weekend Care Assistant you will play a crucial role in providing highquality care and support to our clients in their homes or care facilities during weekend hours.
- Assist clients with daily living activities including personal hygiene dressing and grooming
- Prepare and serve meals ensuring dietary requirements are met
- Help with mobility and transfers using appropriate equipment when necessary
- Administer medication as directed and maintain accurate records
- Engage clients in social activities and provide companionship
- Monitor and report any changes in clients physical or mental condition
- Maintain a clean and safe living environment for clients
- Collaborate with other care team members to ensure continuity of care
- Respond promptly and appropriately to emergencies or unexpected situations
- Uphold client dignity privacy and confidentiality at all times
Qualifications :
- Compassionate and caring nature with a genuine desire to help others
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
- Physical fitness to assist with mobility and personal care tasks
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Patience and understanding when working with vulnerable individuals
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and respect client privacy
- Willingness and availability to work weekends consistently
- Flexibility to adapt to changing client needs and schedules
- Basic computer skills for recordkeeping and communication
- First aid certification (preferred)
- Previous experience in a similar care role (preferred)
- Valid drivers license and access to reliable transportation may be required
