Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Weekend Care Assistant to join our team in Havant United Kingdom. As a Weekend Care Assistant you will play a crucial role in providing highquality care and support to our clients in their homes or care facilities during weekend hours.

  • Assist clients with daily living activities including personal hygiene dressing and grooming
  • Prepare and serve meals ensuring dietary requirements are met
  • Help with mobility and transfers using appropriate equipment when necessary
  • Administer medication as directed and maintain accurate records
  • Engage clients in social activities and provide companionship
  • Monitor and report any changes in clients physical or mental condition
  • Maintain a clean and safe living environment for clients
  • Collaborate with other care team members to ensure continuity of care
  • Respond promptly and appropriately to emergencies or unexpected situations
  • Uphold client dignity privacy and confidentiality at all times

Qualifications :

  • Compassionate and caring nature with a genuine desire to help others
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
  • Physical fitness to assist with mobility and personal care tasks
  • Strong time management and organizational skills
  • Patience and understanding when working with vulnerable individuals
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and respect client privacy
  • Willingness and availability to work weekends consistently
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing client needs and schedules
  • Basic computer skills for recordkeeping and communication
  • First aid certification (preferred)
  • Previous experience in a similar care role (preferred)
  • Valid drivers license and access to reliable transportation may be required
