Job Description
The following responsibilities are foreseen (not limited to):
- Proven experience with data processing (Level0 Level1 and Level2) of meteorological and/or earth observation products from Satellites instruments;
- Proven experience in the integration verification and validation (IV&V) of data processing systems and/or processors including generation of test plan test specification procedures and test reports for endtoend processing chain;
- Knowledge of scripting languages and databases (e.g. Perl Python shell PostgreSQL);
- Proven experience in CI/CD and automated testing;
- Proven experience in System Engineer development and system design;
- Demonstrated experience with UNIX/Linux operating systems;
- Ability to write accurate and consistent technical documentation;
- Practical knowledge in Configuration Control; Knowledge in Computer systems Network systems and IT Security.
Qualifications :
Mandatory skills and relevant experience in :
- University degree in a relevant engineering field Aerospace or telecommunications
- software development (full lifecycle); and system engineering; and ground segment and subsegment level IV&V for Earth Observation missions
- Very good technical writing skills in particular in the area of formal technical documentation (e.g. requirements specification and design documentation test plans and procedures maintenance procedures);
- Source code control systems (e.g. Subversion Git);
- Software anomalies analysis debugging profiling fixing and processing.
