Job Description

In this role you will be a critical member of the legal team helping build and optimize the infrastructure and delivery of legal services for this exciting company as it grows and scales.  You will support the daytoday operations of Vuoris inhouse legal team and interface with business partners across the organization to help foster the legal teams strategic partnership with the business.  In this position you will provide operational support for a broad range of legal compliance and risk management matters.


Qualifications :

What youll get to do: 

  • Manage and administer legal technology platforms and outside vendors including those related to ethics hotline policy compliance and training board portal data rooms matter management litigation holds esignature knowledge management and legal team workspaces.  
  • Implement the design optimization and maintenance of systems processes procedures and forms for operations management of the legal risk management and compliance teams working closely with Vuoris legal leadership.  
  • Manage Legal department budgeting forecasting reporting and accruals while serving as primary liaison with the finance team and partnering with Vuoris outside counsel to optimize legal spending. 
  • Support Vuoris Contracts Manager and commercial contracts team with use and administration of contract lifecycle management tools and processes. 
  • Help establish manage and operationalize tracking of regulatory and compliance developments. 
  • Support and manage special projects and various workstreams for legal department including by tracking milestones deadlines and following up with crossfunctional stakeholders to improve organization proactivity project management and crossfunctional communication with business partners. 
  • Develop track and report on departmental KPIs and leverage data to provide insight into legal operations and better inform decisionmaking. 
  • Support the legal and risk management team on day to day operational and administrative tasks and the efforts to evolve the legal operations function as Vuori grows and scales. 

Who you are: 

  • Bachelors degree from an accredited university and 5 years legal experience including experience managing legal operations preferably a combination of law firm (corporate) and inhouse  
  • Paralegal certificate formal training or credentials in legal operations preferred 
  • Knowledge of legal operations standard procedures and industry best practices 
  • Experience implementing using and managing technology processes procedures and programs utilized by inhouse legal departments (e.g. tools like DocuSign Exterro Evisort (CLM) Cap Table Software Board Portals and/or Ethics Hotlines) 
  • Strong technological skillset with advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite including Word Excel PowerPoint Sharepoint and Teams 
  • Experience in a fast paced high growth constantly changing and entrepreneurial culture 
  • Capable of defining and executing a process or solution from start to finish with a proven ability to handle multiple projects at the same time effectively and efficiently 
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain effective professional and collaborative relationships amongst diverse internal and external stakeholders at all levels 
  • Independent selfmotivated and enthusiastic team player with a strong work ethic excellent communication skills and professionalism with respect to handling confidential legal matters

The salary range for this role is $123000 per year $148000 per year.
