Business Advisory Banking - Partner

Wavestone UK are seeking to hire a Business Advisory Banking Partner. 

Becoming part of theBusiness Advisory FS teamwill present new opportunities for you to make a positive impact as we embark on securing major international accounts to support our growth in international markets. This will meanworking with our FTSE100 clientson a wide range of advisory projects bringingdeep business and technology expertiseto help address opportunities and challenges across their organisations. 

Your role as a Partner with extensive experience working in the Banking field means being akey player to lead and drive the development of the Financial Services practice in terms of: 

• Industry Knowledge and Experience: Demonstrate indepth expertise in the Financial Services sector to support the development of service propositions drive sales and ensure successful project delivery. Partners must also possess a strong knowledge of key industry players products processes and systems.
   
• Business Development: Play a pivotal role in Wavestones business by driving complexbusiness proposals and contributing significantly to account growth. Leverage market insights and experience to identify and target key opportunities and clients.
   
• Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with highlevel key clients in the banking and technology sector to position Wavestone as the preferred provider of relevant services. 
   
• Engagement Leadership: Oversee our most complex client projects to deliver maximum value for the client across the Wealth & Asset Management or Banking sectors. 

Qualifications :

To be considered for this role: 

• Solid foundations inconsulting skills with significant experiencein external clientfacing consulting or equivalent roles within the banking sector

• Proven track record ofselling consulting services(account planning pitching to clients proposals value proposition development) 

• Solid network of contacts within Financial Services  

• Excellent interpersonal skills at all levels of an organizationexperience in managing and leading teams developing and coaching the wider consulting team

• Provenbackground leading Transformation Programmes and strong acumen enhancing advisory credibility 

• Comprehensive knowledge on the following topics in the Banking arena: 

• M&A support and execution within the sector; 

• High street banks i.e. Barclays HSBC LBG NatWest and Santander; 

• Operational improvement deployments of automation and AI outsourcing and offshoring; 

• End to end lifecycle of technology vendor strategy through to implementation in particular core banking solutions; and 

• Data strategy operating model development and implementation within the sector.

Travel and Location 

• Employees are not required to work in a Wavestone office on a fulltime basis but are required to commute to the office /client site whenever necessary. Wavestone UK office is in the heart of the city of London. 

• Note: Mandatory 23 days per week in Wavestone office / client site during probation
