Job Description
TSystems is looking for a highly motivated DevOps Engineer who will be working in a cross functional and international team within an innovative and agile environment.
He / she will be working closely with development teams to deploy and manage code changes by following defined release process also and with operations team to ensure that systems are up and running smoothly. He/she must have a deep understanding of both development and operations processes as well as a strong technical background.
Required skills:
- Strong experience in developing pipelines with Gitlab and Jenkins
- Strong experience in automation tools like Ansible Chef Puppet
- Very good understanding on Docker and Kubernetes
- Good understanding of GitOps principles and experience in tools like Argo CD Flux etc.
- Comfortable in Linux based operating systems.
- Strong experience in scripting languages like shell script python.
- Strong experience in logging and monitoring tools like ELK stack Prometheus Grafana Splunk Fluentd
Soft skills:
- Good communication skills with usage of remote technologies e.g. chat telepresence Webex
- Teamwork openminded empathy adaptability and accountability are highly welcome
- Bigpicture thinking and awareness of software architecture
- Positive attitude to work in multicultural environment
- Willingness to learn
- Critical thinking to have ability to look at the results from different angle
