Position Summary:
We are seeking a meticulous and insightful Lead Search Quality Rater to assist with the development of a program designed to evaluate the relevance and usefulness of online search results for various search queries. This program will follow the Google Search Quality Guidelines described here:
In this role personal production will be expected as you will assess the accuracy and quality of search results helping to improve the overall user experience. Your expertise will contribute to developing the methodology with which other Raters will be interviewed and hired. You will also assist in developing the reporting methodology with which Upwork will update our Client and provide the final deliverables.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and evolve processes and reporting methodologies
- Evaluate the relevance accuracy and quality of search results based on specific rating guidelines.
- Analyze content types (web pages and search results) to ensure they meet user intent and search quality standards.
- Provide detailed feedback on content quality language and user experience.
- Collaborate with the Program Management team to identify trends areas for improvement and potential adjustments to evaluation criteria.
- Maintain uptodate knowledge of rating guidelines and best practices for evaluating search content.
- Complete tasks promptly while maintaining a high level of accuracy and adherence to established guidelines.
Qualifications :
Qualifications:
- Certification as a Search Quality Rater.
- Significant experience in search quality rating
- Experience with leading others
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess various content types for quality and relevance.
- Familiarity with internet search and website evaluation methods.
- Attention to detail and the ability to follow specific guidelines.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
- Selfmotivated and comfortable working independently.
Working Conditions:
