Join our culinary team as a Sous Chef in the charming village of Massignac France. Were seeking a talented and passionate culinary professional to work closely with our Executive Chef in creating exceptional dining experiences that showcase the best of French cuisine and local ingredients.
- Collaborate with the Executive Chef to develop and refine innovative menus that highlight seasonal ingredients and culinary trends
- Oversee daily kitchen operations including food preparation quality control and inventory management
- Lead and inspire the culinary team providing training guidance and supervision to ensure high standards of productivity and quality
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain impeccable sanitation practices throughout the kitchen
- Assist in managing kitchen staffing scheduling and budgeting
- Conduct regular quality checks on food items ensuring proper presentation taste and temperature
- Contribute to the creation of special menus for events and holidays
- Foster a collaborative and innovative kitchen environment that encourages creativity and continuous improvement
Qualifications :
- Culinary Certificate or Degree preferred
- Minimum of one year of experience in a Chef de Cuisine or Sous Chef role
- Proven expertise in French cuisine
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent culinary techniques and ability to train others
- Proficiency in menu planning food costing and inventory management
- Indepth knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices
- Experience in a luxury hospitality setting is a plus
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
- Strong communication skills in both English and French
- Detailoriented with excellent organizational and time management abilities
- Innovative mindset with a passion for creating unique culinary experiences
- Ability to thrive in a fastpaced customerfocused environment
