Under the supervision and direction of the Expanded Learning Coordinator the Expanded Learning Site Lead is responsible and accountable for implementing all aspects of the program on a specific campus to provide a safe and constructive environment for scholars participating in the program. The program Site Lead will manage the programming and scheduling of clubs on a specific campus track afterschool program attendance and supplies and maintain necessary records and files relating to the program.
Due to the nature of this role the Site Lead must maintain a high level of ethical and professional behavior due to access to confidential student information about Wonderful College Prep Academy scholars. They will be required to participate in and perform ongoing staff professional development activities.
Essential Job Functions:
- Oversee the daytoday operations of the expanded learning site.
- Supervise students enrolled in the program and program staff.
- Organize design and implement activities in accordance with the daily schedule and appropriate goals of the program.
- Coordinate intersession services with Expanded Learning Manager and Expanded Learning Coordinator.
- Facilitate WCPAs efforts to promote academic physical nutritional and social success of all students.
- Maintain a safe and supportive environment for all students.
- Keep an updated inventory of supplies and equipment.
- Assist the Expanded Learning team in organizing developing and implementing activities in accordance with the daily schedule and promote the mission of the program
- Program site representative for family & community representatives including but not limited to phone calls emails and inperson.
- Perform family outreach regarding student attendance behavior and other matters.
- Support the recruitment of new expanded learning program scholars coordinating with schoolbased leadership to enroll those students who can most benefit from the services of the program.
- Maintain records of expanded learning program staff schedules and time sheets
- In collaboration with the Program Manager provide programmatic resources and information necessary for reporting for grant reporting and audits.
- Conduct classroom observations to ensure program quality and ELOP grant program fidelity.
- Assist in the management of student behavior through the use of positive reinforcement strategies and communicate incidents and repercussions with parent(s)/guardians(s) when necessary.
- Submit timesheets to the expanded learning manager in advance of payroll due date.
- Maintain communication and provide guidance to all expanded learning staff
- Coordinate coverage for all expanded learning program staff when mentors are absent.
- Monitor the health of students administer basic first aid and medication and perform other health and safety functions as necessary.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications :
- Minimum of two (2) years prior experience working in a school or expanded learning environment.
- Ability to communicate and work effectively with students families and staff of diverse ethnic racial cultural educational and economic backgrounds.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word Excel PowerPoint Outlook)
- Reliable transportation and a valid CA drivers license.
- The ability to fluently speak Spanish preferred.
- CPR & First Aid certificated preferred.
- Strong communication skills both oral and written
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team setting.
- Strong leadership skills in planning and implementing activities
- Ability to successfully pass a background check (including fingerprints) upon official offer and acceptance of a position with WCPA.

- Physical requirements: Hearing and speaking to exchange information make presentations and communicate over the telephone; seeing to read prepare and proofread documents and view computer monitors; sitting or standing for extended periods; dexterity of hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard and other office equipment; kneeling bending at the waist and reaching overhead above the shoulders and horizontally to retrieve and store files and supplies; lifting light objects; ability to go to sites apart from primary office to conduct business.

- Wonderful College Prep Academy offers highly competitive compensation commensurate with experience which includes generous performance bonuses.
Pay Range: $21.00 $23.00/hour. Final compensation will be dependent upon skills & experience.
