Job Description
What youll be doing
- Manage and maintain the companys IT systems including servers networks and software applications
- Implement maintain & optimise IT hardware environment standards Internet connectivity and communications for offices and vessels
- Support on installing and maintaining applications on the IT systems on board vessels & office.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting to endusers ensuring prompt resolution of ITrelated issues
- Proactively identify and address potential IT problems implementing preventative measures to minimise downtime
- Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to coordinate IT projects and initiatives
- Continuously research and recommend new technologies tools and best practices to improve the companys IT capabilities
- Maintain accurate documentation and provide detailed reports on IT systems and activities
- Manage the Active Directory & Exchange server environment.
Qualifications :
What were looking for
- Minimum 35 years of experience as an IT Systems Administrator or in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of Windows Server administration network management and active directory
- Proficient in the use of monitoring and automation tools as well as scripting languages
- Excellent problemsolving and analytical skills with the ability to quickly diagnose and resolve IT issues
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with endusers and stakeholders
- A relevant bachelors degree in Information Technology or a related field is preferred
