PartTime Days

As a Respiratory Care Practitioner you will administer complex respiratory therapy procedures to evaluate and treat individuals with compromised cardiopulmonary functions due to developmental defects aging physical injury or disease. This involves:
- Assessment: Evaluating respiratory status through diagnostic tests and physical exams.
- Treatment Planning: Developing personalized care plans tailored to the patients condition.
- Therapy Administration: Implementing respiratory care techniques such as mechanical ventilation aerosol therapy and chest physiotherapy.
- Monitoring: Continuously tracking patient progress and adjusting treatments as needed.
- Education: Instruct patients and families on managing respiratory conditions and using equipment at home.

Qualifications :
- Education:
- Associates Degree (required)
- Bachelors Degree in Respiratory Therapy (preferred)
- Graduate from an AMAapproved program by the National Board of Respiratory Care in Respiratory Therapy (required)
- Certifications:
- Registration by the National Board of Respiratory Care as a Respiratory Therapist (required)
- Licensure as a Respiratory Care Practitioner by the Maryland Board of Physician Quality Assurance (required)
- CPR certification (required)
- ACLS certification (preferred)
- Experience:
- Two years of experience as a Respiratory Technician (preferred)
