We are hiring an Administrative Assistant Cemetery for one of our clients in Buckeye AZ.
Job Description:
- Maintains calendars schedules meetings and appointments; prioritizes and resolves meeting schedules; coordinates meeting resources and travel.
- Conducts and coordinates assigned projects; identifies and resolves routine problems
- Prepares correspondence and other documents on a wide variety of subjects requiring knowledge of the procedures and policies of the assigned department; edits and processes memoranda technical documents and other communications.
- Maintains department files; compiles statistical data; prepares a variety of technical and statistical reports; updates manual and computer records and tracking systems; compiles management reports.
- Conducts research of files and computer databases.
- Resolves routine problems and customer service inquiries within scope of authority; screens and routes calls to appropriate individuals takes and delivers messages.
- Assists with front desk and facility operations and overseeing opening and closing procedures.
- Handles monetary transactions and prepares daily deposits.
- Answers questions related to City of Buckeye Louis B. Hazelton cemetery.
- Assists customers with the purchase of cemetery plots and coordination of burial services.
- Performs other duties as assigned or required.
Skills required:
- Skill in: Assessing and prioritizing multiple tasks projects and demands.
- Operating a personal computer utilizing a variety of business software.
- Preparing accurate reports documents and correspondence.
- Providing excellent customer service.
- Effective oral and written communication Providing high level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations.
- Ability to: Demonstrate poise tact and diplomacy in the performance of work Establish and maintain positive effective working relationships with those contacted in the performance of work.
Education and Experience required:
- High School diploma or GED equivalent three (3) years administrative support experience; OR an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Additional information:
- Requesting assistance with the backlog of cemetery customer calls and filing.
- This position will be taking calls from cemetery customers and handling their inquiries as well as coordinating burials or headstone sales.
- They will also be creating grave certificates and ensuring files are up to date and complete
