Quality Control & Centralized Locate ensures the correctness and completeness of child support cases and in conjunction with the Borough Offices locates absent parents so that child support cases may be pursued in court for the establishment of support and/or paternity orders with the goal of increasing OCSEs Paternity Establishment Percentage (PEP) and Support Establishment Percentage (SEP).
Under supervision of the Supervisor of Centralized Locate with latitude for independent judgment the Clerical Associate III functioning as a Locate Specialist is responsible for working on cases assigned from multiple OCSE WEB informational systems. The Locate Specialist utilizes available research tools to locate noncustodial parents (NCP) and to verify demographic information associated with the NCP referring cases to the Borough offices for the establishment of paternity and support orders.
The Office of Child Support Services (OCSS) is recruiting one (1) Clerical Associate III who will:
Utilize locate tools such as Automated State Support & Enforcement Tracking System (ASSETS) Welfare Management System (WMS) LEXISNEXIS ACCURINT CLEAR Work Number (TALX) Human Health Services (HHSCONNECT) Prison Locater Systems (DOCS/BOPS) and HRAVIEWER to locate and verify information on the whereabouts of the noncustodial parents and refer cases to the borough offices for court preparation.
Research and verify residential addresses and employer leads compare existing noncustodial parent demographic information such as residential and work addresses via the Automated State Support Enforcement Tracking System (ASSETS) to identify and correct case errors such as missing or incorrect social security numbers residential or employer address updates WMS and ASSETS with the correct data as necessary.
Perform and complete assigned special projects for OCSE Management by providing feedback clarification and outcome of findings on specific case situations and processes within prescribed deadlines and following protocols procedures and adhering to agency policies and regulations. These special cases include both case level and account level cases from Family Court that were dismissed because NCPs moved to a different residential address and where Summonses from the Sheriffs office could not be served.
Create and prepare weekly activity worksheets for the immediate Supervisor; compile statistical data that provides feedback and clarification on the outcome/results of the cases which are submitted to the Director for review and evaluation.
Participate in unit staff meetings to obtain and exchange information regarding revisions in Unit goals program changes and agency policies and procedures.

Qualifications :
Qualification Requirements
A fouryear high school diploma or its educational equivalent approved by a States department of education or a recognized accrediting organization and one year of satisfactory clerical experience.
Skills Requirement
Keyboard familiarity with the ability to type at a minimum of 100 key strokes (20 words) per minute.
