To build more high performing schools we need senior instructional leaders to commit themselves to the most urgent and exciting work of our time! Regional Superintendents of Instruction at Uncommon Schools serve as vitally important leaders in our organization and help drive the success of our schools and principals. They oversee instructional and academic programs for groups of schools within the Uncommon Schools network and are accountable for developing principals and for the student success and achievement within their schools.
As a Regional Superintendent of Instruction at Uncommon Schools you will oversee instruction and manage and support a group of Principals. The Regional Superintendent of Instruction is a fulltime employee hired supported and evaluated by the Chief Schools Officer. Your responsibilities will include the following:

Compensation for this position: Candidates who meet all job description requirements will likely receive an offer of 153600. The starting compensation for this role based in New York City is between $153600 to 177050. The starting pay will depend on various factors including but not limited to relevant professional experience education certifications tenure with Uncommon Schools and work location. To receive an offer at the top of the range candidates will need significant experience beyond job description requirements. Because we value staff tenure in a role we do not currently cap salary ranges for current staff members. Please note: ranges may differ for staff who work from a location other than New York City.
