The role will be responsible for assisting with the preparation of all SEC Financial Reporting requirements.
What Would You Do The Specifics.
- Actively supports SEC reporting including the preparation of Quarterly and Annual SEC (10Q & 10K) filings.
- Assists with annual external audit including preparing assigned schedules for the annual and quarterly interim auditor reviews.
- Maintains and develops reports supporting certain amounts disclosed external in MD&A and Financial Statement Footnotes.
- Participates in the preparation review and analysis of consolidated financial statements.
- Assists with other regulatory reporting requirements as needed.
- Assists in the preparation and review of quarterly earnings release tables press releases and scripts to ensure that information reported is accurate and in accordance with GAAP.
- Assists in the adoption of new accounting pronouncements by the FASB and SEC to determine the impact on the Company.
- Performs and applies technical accounting research for arising issues.
- Executes assigned financial reporting controls as designed ensuring operating effectiveness for SOX compliance.
- Supports implementation of new systems and processes as needed.
Qualifications :
Work Experience
- 46 years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience. (Required)
Additional Skills
- Highly proficient in Excel and in accounting areas of stock comp debt leasing derivatives and statement of cash flow. (Required)
- Strong reporting systems experience (BPC or Hyperion etc.). (Preferred)
- Big four accounting and SOX experience. (Preferred)
- Industry SEC reporting experience. (Preferred)
- XBRL taxonomy design and tagging experience. (Preferred)
- Strong verbal/written communication abilities; effective interpersonal skills; strong attention to detail. (Required)
- Independent worker and analytical thinker with ability to conduct research and data analysis. (Required)
- Excellent organization planning judgment and time management skills. (Required)
- CPA license (Required)
