Job Description
Aerodynamics
Create new geometries using CAD;
Submit geometries to test in both WT and CFD and manage the process;
Analyse results from CFD and wind tunnel and recommend track test of performant geometries;
Define specify and manage effective and efficient wind tunnel tests;
Conduct wind tunnel testing (some shift work will be required).
Professionalism
Suggest investigate (and where applicable) implement new methods and processes to improve efficiency of aerodynamic ideas generation design testing analysis and reporting;
Provide flexible attendance and attitude to work both in line with the requirements of the role and any specific requirements of the projects;
To work in a professional manner at all times regardless of the task set and be proactive in promoting a positive image for the department / team/ sponsors.
Maintain and develop good relationships with aero performance group aerodynamics development group leaders and senior aero management;
Communicate effectively with other groups such as model design model shop aero technology group CFD methodology group aero production and wind tunnel systems group.

Qualifications :
At least two years experience in high level motorsport aerodynamics development.
Strong broad understanding of aerodynamics to degree level or above.
A strong technical understanding of CFD and wind tunnel test techniques.
Experience of running WT testing programs.
Good CAD skills.
Initiative and Innovation.
Teamplayer attitude and the ability to work under pressure and with minimal supervision.
The capacity to lead a project solve complex problems and achieve performance targets within strict deadlines.
