Job Description
We are seeking a friendly and customerfocused Bar Team Associate to join our vibrant establishment in Dartford United Kingdom. As a key member of our bar team you will play a crucial role in creating an enjoyable and welcoming atmosphere for our patrons.
- Greet customers warmly and take drink orders promptly and accurately
- Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages to customers
- Maintain a clean and organised bar area ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations
- Handle cash and card transactions efficiently and accurately
- Restock bar supplies and assist with inventory management
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth service during busy periods
- Provide knowledgeable recommendations on drink selections to enhance customer experience
- Enforce responsible drinking policies and age verification procedures
- Assist in setting up and breaking down the bar area for events or promotions
Qualifications :
- Excellent communication skills with a friendly and approachable demeanour
- Strong customer service orientation and ability to work well under pressure
- Basic maths skills for handling cash and card transactions accurately
- Knowledge of alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages including popular cocktails
- Ability to work in a fastpaced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to support colleagues
- Previous experience in hospitality or customer service is preferred
- Personal Licence is desirable but not essential
- Food Hygiene Certificate is advantageous
- Must be at least 18 years of age to serve alcohol (as per UK law)
- Flexibility to work evenings weekends and holidays as required
