Job Description

PURPOSE OF THE JOB

The Social Media Specialist handles daily content creation community management and posting on Colombias social media accounts including Instagram TikTok and Threads.

They develop a unique channel personality and tone create endtoend content and understand current trends to craft a national social narrative.

Their goal is to foster Brand Love through organic content driving key metrics like reach engagement frequency and well time ensuring Red Bull generates the right wordofmouth on the right platform at the right time.

Additionally they turn performance data into actionable plans and enhance digital media expertise within the organization

 

PLANIFICATION AND EXECUTION

  • Activation around Red Bull events occasions and content. Generate the link between WORB and ours/third party channels.  Responsible for planning and managing the social media posting calendar for Red Bull in Colombia.

  • Identify local opportunities with special focus on social media and SOLs.
  • Maximize the reach of the Red Bull brand within Colombia.
  • Build community through social media community management.
  • Optimize account performance using analytics scheduling custom features and promoting a seamless consumer journey across platforms.

 

TRACKING AND REPORTING

  • Identifies and analyzes social media trends seeking new opportunities that applies to the Marketing Strategy.
  • Perfect understanding of the results to make sure we are going on the right path monthly reporting to the Media Network Specialist to share with the rest of the company.

 

STRATEGY

  • Use global content making it relevant locally.
  • Ensure year long audience engagement.
  • Collaborate with the Media Network Leader to develop the business plan and schedule strategies that support the marketing mix.
  • Increase audience reach for local projects with relevant SOLs players for every specific playground.

Qualifications :

  • 2 or more years of running social media accounts.
  • Advanced in English
  • Expert in identifying where consumers live digitally how they consume content and how to engage them with content according to their consumption behavior
  • Some experience in editing and handling tools such as Canva CapCut and/or Premiere
  • Has a constant sense of online trends and knows how to drive Word of Mouth online.
  • Knowledge of social copywriting and community management
  • Creative and curious copywriting excellent communication and social skills heavy user of social media.
