The process engineering function plays an integral role in supporting Element Sixs production activities ensuring processes are under control and performing at specified quality levels.
This work includes understanding the fundamentals of processes engineering process controls and continuous improvement.
You will be the owner for process verification validation and improvement.
You will be responsible for creating / sustaining and improving processes
Identification and control of key process performance parameters and measures such as:
Reporting monitoring and governance of process control Cpk.
Establishes process control limits and ensures process is operating within limits and product meets quality requirements.
Responsible for process capability and performance.
Identify and implement countermeasures to meet process performance and yield targets
Build deep dive understanding of process variables and implement root cause analysis to deliver robust solutions.
You will be responsible for the creation implementation and documentation of process specifications such as:
Create and maintain process control plans specifications and support creation of standard work instructions.
Takes ownership of process KPIs /FMEAs /control plans/ capability reports & continuous improvement plans
Ensure BoMs and routes are correct and up to date
You will be responsible for continuous improvement & process development such as:
Focal point for process change control
Drive process improvement / cycle time reduction
Lead PPS 3Cs to address process concerns quality issues and implement countermeasures
Proactively seek out new production technology to deliver step change advance in process capability.
Qualifications :
A third level qualification in Mechanical/Chemical/Electrical/Process/Production Engineering or equivalent
Minimum 2 years relevant experience.
An openness to new technologies and ability to followup on these independently.
A motivated individual with strong can do attitude.
Ability to lead communicate and appropriately influence project team members and work with cross functional teams.
Ability to relate and work effectively with staff at all levels in the organization.
Excellent organizational skills.
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal across all management levels.
