Job Description

We are looking for a confident motivated bright individual to help us demonstrate and differentiate our Controllership Solutions to our prospects as a Senior Solutions Engineer.

Our Controllership Solutions include Connected Solutions for the Office of the CFO ranging from Close & Consolidation Tax Reporting Disclosure Management (e.g. ESG Reporting) and Equity Management. The focus for this role will be on Close & Consolidation and Disclosure Management.

You bring strong probing problem solving & consultative skills to the team with an enthusiasm for technology and innovation. You can work in a fastpaced environment with minimal supervision. Our Senior Solutions Engineer is responsible for supporting the specific sales region(s) and their associated sales and prospecting activities. This is a fulltime position which has reporting responsibilities to the Director PreSales & Strategic Partnerships in EMEA.

The Role:

  • Attend and proactively question (using pertinent openended questions) prospects during the discovery calls to uncover specific business issues desired business outcomes as well as to identify the burning platform of why now.
  • Develop a good understanding of the key differentiators of our Solutions and be conversant on relevant insightsoftware customer stories specifically how they use our Solutions to solve their business issues including articulating quantifiable outcomes and successes.
  • Utilise your ability as a storyteller to connect the dots for prospects in terms of understanding how the insightsoftware Solutions will enable them to solve their specific business problems by demonstrating relevant capabilities of the Solutions and illustrating how existing customers have solved their business problem and driven tangible and quantifiable business results.
  • Understand the specific marketing initiatives and campaigns occurring within your assigned region to support the development of specific customised product demonstrations.
  • Bring innovative approaches and ideas to increasing the win rate within your region.
  • Meet and exceed preset quarterly and annual sales targets within your region

Qualifications :

  • Must be fluent in English and German.
  • Have indepth understanding of finance & accounting processes working for a larger accounting firm software vendor or in a role as financial controller or similar role for a number of years
  • Must have the ability to understand and communicate complex technology and value propositions
  • Handson experience working with and or implementing EPM and/or CPM solutions either within a finance department or a software vendor with the determination and aptitude to understand the fundamentals of a new solution and hit the ground running. Experience with ESG Reporting processes will be a big plus for this role
  • Experience handling a broad range of prospect demonstrations and interactions on a daily and weekly basis
  • Must be a selfstarter with a willingness to do what it takes to meet & exceed goals
  • Possess high energy maintain a persistent growth mindset enthusiasm and be extremely goal oriented
  • Possess a professional business manner with an ability to identify connect and build relationships
  • Strong project management: ability to organise and prioritise work independently with minimal supervision
  • Ideally proven presales/solution engineering experience; targeting and demonstrating software solutions to large multinational organisations
  • Able to connect with decision makers and be comfortable presenting to midlevel and C level executives in the Finance function
