Job Description
This is a remote position.
Responsibilities:
- Transcribe and format scripts to match the final broadcast version of programs.
- Insert accurate time codes into transcripts.
- Proofread and review your work to ensure adherence to quality standards.
- Follow provided guidelines and formats.
- Respond promptly to feedback and make necessary adjustments as requested by the Quality Control (QC) Team.
Requirements
- Native English speaker.
- Typing speed of at least 75 WPM.
- Excellent listening and typing skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficiency in transcription software.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Preferred Skills & Qualifications:
- Previous experience (23 years) in transcription for television or film.
- Familiarity with US UK Canadian or New Zealand English dialects.
- Strong proofreading skills and ability to conduct research as needed.
