Job Description
This is a remote position.
Responsibilities:
- Transcribe legal audio and video files into accurate text formats.
- Proofread and edit your work to ensure accuracy.
- Adhere to transcription guidelines formats and AAERT standards.
- Conduct research to ensure the correct use of legal terminology.
- Implement feedback from the Quality Control team promptly.
Requirements
Requirements:
- At least 23 years of experience in legal transcription.
- Native English speaker with proficiency in US English dialect.
- Typing speed of 50 words per minute with excellent accuracy.
- Strong listening proofreading and active listening skills.
- Proficiency in transcription software and formatting guidelines.
- Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines.
- Familiarity with legal terminology and pleading formats.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification in legal transcription or relevant field.
