Job Description
What will you be doing
As a Senior IT Application Support Engineer you will join our team in Broughton to support our activities within the Aerospace sector.
Your main responsibilities will be:
- Supporting Coordinating and supervising Level 1.5 & 2 shopfloor engineers in applications utilised in the manufacturing environment such as Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) Enterprise Resource Planning systems (ERP) Scheduling softwares and Machining.
- Training and assisting endusers to ensure optimal use of the applications.
- Collaborating with development and infrastructure teams to resolve incidents and optimize application performance.
- Participating in continuous improvement of processes and tools by proposing innovative solutions.
- Writing and updating technical documentation and operating procedures.

Qualifications :
Experience skills and qualifications required:
- Engineering degree in Computer Science Information Systems or equivalent.
- At least 8 years of experience in application support preferably in an industrial sector.
- Proven experience in providing training for colleagues with supervisory responsibilities.
- Prior exposure to production environments and industrial processes.
- Proficiency in ticket management tools and common operating systems.
