Job Description
Job Role: Security Supervisor
Working Hours: 4 on 4 off shift pattern (07:0019:00) average 42 hours per week
Pay: 12.24 per hour
Location: CEVA Doncaster Unit IP2D Railport Way Doncaster DN11 0BQ
Reporting to: Operations Manager
Overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen at Anchor Group Services for an experienced Security Supervisor to join the security team on our prestigious contract with a national logistics Company.
- Daily liaison with the client management team
- Daily supervision of a workforce of 8 security officers per shift rotation
- Monitoring officer performance including compliance with site procedures patrol frequencies and work instructions
- Assisting with the investigation of incidents and accidents
- Conducting proactive site patrols noncontact staff searches vehicle searches and identifying any security threats or breaches
- Escalating any Security/Health and Safety incidents to the Contracts Manager and working in accordance with the site Assignment Instructions and the customer Standard Operational Procedures
- Conducting monthly welfare checks and contributing to the annual appraisal process
- Monitoring security officer competency and identifying training needs
- Support the Anchor Operations Centre with the allocation of site staff to customer assignments including the mitigation of issues arising as a result of shift blow outs
- Conducting onsite investigations and reports
Requirements
- Full 5year checkable employment history
- A valid frontline SIA Licence
- Proven experience in a supervisory role within the security industry
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in using IT systems and security equipment
- Good written and verbal communication timekeeping skills and punctuality with flexibility to meet the job requirements
- Smart in appearance and presentable
- Reliable and punctual
