We are seeking a skilled and motivated Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) with 4 years of experience in web automation API testing and performance testing.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Design develop and maintain robust automated test scripts for web applications using Playwright and Cypress.
- Create and execute comprehensive API test cases using Postman ensuring highquality backend services.
- Perform performance testing using k6 and JMeter analyzing results to identify bottlenecks and optimize system performance.
- Collaborate with the development team to integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines on GitHub.
- Guide the team in writing BDDstyle tests using the Cucumber framework for Cypress automation.
- Work closely with other engineers to utilize Terraform or GCP tools to ensure scalable and secure testing environments.
- Continuously enhance test strategies frameworks and practices to align with industry trends and project requirements.
- Debug and resolve test failures ensuring the stability and reliability of test pipelines.
- Contribute to test planning including risk analysis and coverage assessment for new features and products.
Requirements
- A degree in Computer Science or any other relevant courses is relevant but not required.
- 4 years of experience in web automation API testing and performance testing.
- Proficient in modern tools and frameworks like Playwright Cypress and Postman with a good understanding of Terraform or Google Cloud Platform (GCP) infrastructure.
- Familiarity with additional CI/CD tools and cloud services.
- Exposure to other programming languages such as Javascript or Typescript.
- Experience with monitoring tools and frameworks for realtime application health checks.
