Job Description
Software QA Engineer
Location: Beaverton OR
AZAD Technology Partners is hiring a Software QA Engineer to be an impactful contributor by testing software that drives leadingedge manufacturing systems. The individual will join a multidisciplinary team of engineers focused on developing cuttingedge technology in a fastpaced and technically challenging environment.
Responsibilities:
Developing test plans
Integrating test method/technology in the software testing
Verifying the software implementations against requirements
Regression testing software core functionality
Communicating with development engineers and stakeholders about bugs or requirements discrepancies
Helping to release the software
The ideal candidate will possess the following:
Proven experience in software testing and quality assurance
Experience with testing capital equipment software or applications is a must
Experience with software development metrology (Agile/Scrum)
Familiar with Microsoft Technology (TFS Git)
Experience with software testing method/technology (such as Ranorex)
Fundamental Engineering Knowledge (basic physics calculus problemsolving)
Familiarity with industrial hardware (motors sensors etc.) is highly preferred
Experience with unit testing is a plus
Bachelors or Masters in Engineering Science or related discipline is preferred
