Job Description
Job Description: We are looking for the right Nurse Practitioner to performmedical assessments on United States Veterans as part of the VAsdisability benefits process. In performing Disability Assessmentsyou will review medical records electronically through a web portaland perform a focused inperson physical exam on each Veteran. Youwill electronically document the exam findings required by the VAthrough the web portal. The Nurse Practitioner DOES NOT makedisability determinations. The United States VeteransAdministration makes all disability determinations. This role ONLYperforms Disability Assessments on Veterans. You will NOT treatand you will NOT prescribe medication in this position. Thisposition performs Disability Assessments on 35 Veterans per dayon average. Schedule FullTime MondayFriday (8am4pm) This is anINPERSON position. Key Attributes: Interested in performing Independent Medical Assessments. Able to analyze data from the medical records and exam findingsto complete the questionnaire and form medical opinions. Skilled in time management able to stay on task and meetrequirements. Must hold a current and unrestricted Nurse Practitionerlicense. Proficiently use a computer.
Requirements: Must have a current unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license.
