And now they are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Database Administrator who will ensure that the database runs efficiently and securely.
What is the company expecting
Experience with PostgreSQL and MariaDB;
Experience with Linux;
Experience with AWS.
Education and experience
Bachelors degree in computer science business or a related field;
35 years of successful previous work experience as a Database Administrator;
Experience in FinTech industry will be considered as an advantage.
Responsibilities and Duties
Install update upgrade configure monitor database and instances;
Design and create database;
Keep databases stable operational accessible and consistent;
Develop and optimize SQL queries;
Assist developers on SQL data structure;
SQL High Availability Load Balancing Replication;
Perform DBMSrelated tasks:
Configuring authentication and authorization;
Providing data backups and snapshots;
Performance tuning;
Data recovery.
