Job Description
Job Title: Business Analyst
Reports To: IT Project Manager/IT System Owner
Position Location: Bangalore
Position Summary:
The ERP Business Analyst will work the business and IT teams to understand endtoend process workflows the associated relevant software applications drive and contribute to process reengineering initiatives elicit and document requirements and specifications act as the facilitator between the Subject Matter Experts and the IT teams to ensure the adequate processes and functionalities are developed tested and implemented in the scope of the implementation of an existing ERP applications.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develops close working relationships with crossdisciplinary teams to understand and document endtoend process workflows and the supporting software applications;
- Elicits requirements and act as the facilitator between Subject Matter Experts and IT teams translating complex functional requirements into functional/technical/nonfunctional specifications;
- Identifies opportunities for enhancements and contribute process reengineering initiatives;
- Drives the requirement management lifecycle including the creation grooming development and testing activities overseeing the delivery of the product as per the requirements;
- Analyzes and decomposes complex requirements into artefacts that clearly articulates the functional and nonfunctional specification.
- Prepares standard operating procedures user manuals & functional documentation and keeps them uptodate;
- Performs training to the users about processes and the systems involved in supporting such processes;
- As the process expert provides support and critical insights to processes and functionality implemented in the systems used across the organization;
- Ensures regular attendance and punctuality;
- Builds understanding of GAMP5 principles and applies GMP/GLP in all areas of responsibility where appropriate;
- Conducts all activities in a safe and efficient manner;
- Performs other duties as assigned;
- Provides crossfunctional support to other departments as required;
- Adjusts work hours as needed to meet client deadlines;
- Contributes to user acceptance testing ceremonies and provides formal signoffs for the UAT tests.
Basic Minimum Qualifications (BMQ):
To perform this job successfully the individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements below are representative of the knowledge skill or ability required.
Education/Experience (BMQ):
- Engineer degree Bachelor of Business Administration Computer Science or Management Information Systems Life Sciences or any other equivalent degree or experience;
- Minimum 5 years of experience with business process design and improvement in the scope of an ERP implementation;
- Familiarity with software development process including requirement gathering analysis/design development tools/technologies release/version control contemporary testing methodologies and deployment management.
Additional preferences:
- IIBA Business Analyst certification or similar;
- Experience working in an Agile/SCRUM environment.
Ability and/or Skills (BMQ):
- Above average oral and written communication skills.
- Capacity to conceptualize creative solutions as well as documenting them and presenting/selling them to all levels of the organization including senior management;
- Ability to solve practical problems and troubleshooting skills;
- Details oriented analytical and investigation skills;
- Ability to multitask with organization and manage time effectively.
- Strong customer focus and ability to manage (internal or external) Client expectations;
- Ability to work in a complex international environment;
- Demonstrates a positive attitude capacity for team environment and exhibits a genuine interest in drug discovery in support of advancing human health.
Other Factors:
- Successful completion of the companys safety program is required.
- Travels to other Eurofins facilities is required. Percentage of working time of approximately 2550%.

PERFORMANCE APPRAISAL CRITERIA:
Eurofins has a strong focus on Performance Management system. This includes quarterly calibrations halfyearly reviews and annual reviews. The KPIs shall be set and may vary slightly between projects. These will be clearly communicated documented during the first 30 days of your joining.
