Role
Our client is seeking an experienced IBM Integration Bus (IIB) Administrator with strong expertise in managing and configuring IIB on z/OS (Mainframe) systems. The role involves installation configuration and maintenance of IIB environments troubleshooting and working collaboratively with development teams to ensure seamless integration processes.
Musthave Requirements
Proficiency in configuring and maintaining IBM Integration Bus (IIB) on z/OS.
Experience with SMP/E environment configuration SMPE commands and rollout of versions/fixpack levels.
Skilled in creating and managing zFS filesystems and TCP/IP configurations.
Expertise in RACF/security rule management and user access control for IIB.
Strong knowledge of MQ definitions and configuration (MQ Admin experience).
Experience with OPC batch jobs for maintenance (e.g. SMF accounting backups cleanups).
Management of IIB configurable services (JDBC Providers FTPServers SMTP Security Profiles etc.).
Handson experience with ODBC configurations for DB2 and certificate management.
Preferred Requirements
Prior experience in a dual role managing both MQ and IIB environments.
Advanced knowledge of global cache management and optimization.
