About us
At Dibber our mission is to help every child discover their own value. With over 600 centers in 9 countries and a team of 13000 people were shaping the future of early childhood education. Our Dibber App connects educators and caregivers providing a userfriendly way to share updates on childrens daytoday lives. Were looking for an experienced Product Designer to join us in refining and scaling this awardwinning product.
The Dibber App is already live in 4 countries with 4000 weekly users and we aim to scale it to 60000 users by 2025. As we continue evolving we need someone to lead the design and ensure our app is intuitive accessible and impactful for both users and the organization.
What you will be doing
As a Product Designer at Dibber youll have the exciting opportunity to shape the user experience of a product that has a meaningful impact on educators caregivers and children. Your daytoday will involve collaborating with crossfunctional teams tackling design challenges and driving innovation to ensure the Dibber App is intuitive and engaging for all users.
- Lead the design of the Dibber app ensuring it is intuitive and userfriendly for educators parents and children.
- Work on specific areas of the customer journey to solve identified pain points with effective design solutions.
- Collaborate in crossfunctional teams to gather insights and validate designs.
- Design user flows wireframes mockups and prototypes that address real user challenges and align with business objectives.
- Ensure accessibility scalability and consistency in design aligned with Dibbers brand guidelines.
- Conduct usability testing to continuously iterate on and improve the product.
- Own the design system ensuring a unified approach across all aspects of the app.
- Some travel is required in this role.
What were looking for
- Experience as a Product Designer or similar role with a strong portfolio showcasing userfriendly and visually appealing digital products.
- Proficiency in Figma and a strong understanding of responsive design accessibility standards and inclusive design practices.
- Experience in defining early design concepts and exploring multiple solutions to keep designs flexible for future needs.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to present design ideas clearly to both technical and nontechnical audiences.
- Professional proficiency in a Scandinavian language and English
- Experience working with crossfunctional teams.
It would also be great (but not necessary) to have a basic understanding of frontend development (HTML/CSS) to bridge the gap between design and development.
