You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailOCU Group are currently looking for an Electrical Site Supervisor to lead and supervise our team based in North Wales.
As an Electrical Supervisor you will oversee the installation maintenance and repair of electrical systems and equipment. You will lead a team of electricians and technicians ensuring work is carried out safely efficiently and in compliance with regulatory standards and industry best practices.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Supervision and Leadership:
Lead and supervise a team of electricians and technicians providing guidance coaching and support to ensure work is completed to high standards and within deadlines.
Allocate resources assign tasks and monitor progress to optimise productivity and efficiency in delivering electrical services.
Project Coordination:
Coordinate electrical projects including installations upgrades and maintenance activities from planning and scheduling to execution and completion.
Liaise with clients contractors and internal stakeholders to define project requirements scope and timelines and ensure alignment with project objectives.
Technical Oversight:
Provide technical expertise and guidance on electrical systems equipment and installations and assist team members in troubleshooting complex electrical issues.
Review engineering designs specifications and drawings to ensure compliance with standards regulations and client requirements.
Safety and Compliance:
Enforce safety policies procedures and regulations related to electrical operations including lockout/tagout (LOTO) arc flash protection and electrical safety standards.
Conduct safety inspections risk assessments and toolbox talks and ensure adherence to safety protocols and best practices onsite.
Quality Assurance and Control:
Implement quality assurance processes and procedures to monitor workmanship materials and compliance with technical specifications and industry standards.
Conduct quality inspections audits and assessments to identify opportunities for improvement and ensure customer satisfaction.
Training and Development:
Provide training mentoring and development opportunities to electricians and technicians to enhance their technical skills safety awareness and job performance.
Foster a culture of continuous learning professional growth and teamwork within the electrical team.
Documentation and Reporting:
Maintain accurate records of work activities including job orders work permits test reports and equipment documentation.
Prepare and submit progress reports project updates and performance metrics to management and stakeholders as required.
