Job Description
Senior Manager responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
- Leading direct reports group leaders managers and their teams and serving clients in technical settings such as laboratories or manufacturing facilities
- Lead recruiting and retention efforts along with site leadership
- Monthly meetings with each direct report the Eurofins department and client managers
- Disseminate administrative communications
- Leads special projects organizing technical resources and staff to accomplish within given deadlines
- Demonstrate and promote the company vision by leading companywide initiatives
- Drives programs independently and build relationships with partners at all levels of the organization and externally.
- Meet all quality and productivity metrics and demonstrate strong teamwork and collaboration
- Lead teams schedules and train employees in client environment
- Organize technical resources and staff to accomplish client goals within given deadlines
- Assist Director with business operations as needed
- Stays current in science and technology and consults knowledgeably with clients
- Ensure adherence to highest quality and efficiency standards in laboratory operations
Qualifications :
The ideal candidate would possess:
- Focus on solutions oriented management
- Scientific background with hands on laboratory experience
- A good understanding of day to day business operations
- Demonstrated strong client service skills teamwork and collaboration
- Strong computer scientific and organizational skills
- Excellent communication (oral and written) and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team selfmotivation adaptability and a positive attitude
- Ability to learn new techniques perform multiple tasks simultaneously keep accurate records follow instructions and comply with company policies
- Strong leadership initiative and teambuilding skills and experience
Basic Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Chemistry or other related field
- 10 years of hands on related experience
- At least 5 years in a leadership role
- Business Management education or experience preferred
- Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship
Additional Information :
Position is fulltime 1st shift Monday Friday 8:00am5:00pm with overtime as needed. Candidates currently living within a commutable distance of Indianapolis IN are encouraged to apply.
