- Supports clinical testing of pharmaceutical products
- Gathers data and documents test results.
- Reviews test results to ensure compliance with standards; reports any quality anomalies.
- Complies with all pertinent regulatory agency requirements.
- Participates in required training activities.
- Maintains laboratory supplies.
- Completes test records and reviews data.
- Calibrates or verifies calibration of instruments/devices prior to use.
- Interacts with outside customers or functional peer groups.
- May assist in qualification and validation of methods
- Strong computer scientific and organizational skills

Leadership responsibilities:
- Coordinate scheduling allocation of responsibilities training and new hire onboarding process
- Monitors the day to day operations of QC analyst staff
- May support peer group lead operations
- Participates in training of other employees.
- Facilitate staff access to systems controlled areas etc. using approved procedures
- Participates in productivity tracking and prepares monthly metrics and quality reports.
- Assists in coordinating equipment maintenance and calibration.
- Participates in new hire interviews
- Participates in the overtime and weekend schedule as required.
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in chemistry or other science related degree concentration or equivalent directly related experience
- Previous leadership experience is required and experience working in a GMPregulated environment
- Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship
- Experience in HPLC LCMS and/or UVVis Spectroscopy strongly preferred
- Level will be determined based on relevant education and/or experience
Additional Information :
This position is fulltime on a WedSat 1pm11:30pm shift. Candidates currently living in a commutable distance to Rensselaer NY are encouraged to apply! Base Compensation ranges from $2325/hour dependent on relevant experience and education. 2nd shift has a 10% shift differential.
