Job Description

Roles and responsibilities

🛠️ What will you be doing?

Client Recruitment

  • Help clients with hiring from start to finish: writing job descriptions, finding candidates, screening resumes, and interviewing.
  • Work with clients on hiring strategies and provide tips on what candidates are available and what salary ranges to expect.
  • Support the onboarding process to help new hires settle smoothly into client companies.

HR Advisory

  • Advise clients on HR best practices and help with workforce planning, employee relations, and creating a positive work environment.
  • Assist clients in setting up HR policies and procedures that align with their business goals.
  • Guide clients in handling employee issues, from performance management to conflict resolution.

HR Outsourcing (HRO)

  • Manage day-to-day HR tasks for clients, like payroll processing, benefits administration, and following Kuwaiti labor laws.
  • Keep employee records up-to-date for clients and assist with audits when needed.
  • Handle HR admin tasks, answer employee questions, and make sure HR operations run smoothly for clients.

✅ What skills/experience do you need?

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Prior experience as an HR Generalist or in a similar role, ideally in a consulting or outsourcing setting.
  • Familiarity with HRMS, HRIS systems and Kuwaiti labor laws.
  • Strong organizational skills and time management to juggle multiple client projects.

Desired candidate profile

Strategic HR Management

  • Develop and implement HR policies, procedures, and programs aligned with organizational goals.
  • Collaborate with leadership to identify workforce needs and create strategies to meet them.
  • Analyze HR metrics to recommend improvements in processes or policies.

Recruitment and Onboarding

  • Lead recruitment efforts for key positions, including interviewing and candidate selection.
  • Streamline onboarding processes to ensure new hires are effectively integrated.
  • Oversee employer branding strategies to attract top talent.

Employee Relations

  • Act as a point of contact for complex employee issues, providing mediation and resolution.
  • Manage investigations related to employee complaints or workplace conflicts.
  • Foster a positive workplace culture and improve employee satisfaction.

Performance Management

  • Design and implement performance appraisal systems.
  • Provide coaching and guidance to managers on performance-related matters.
  • Identify training needs and support career development initiatives.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Oversee salary benchmarking and structure adjustments.
  • Administer employee benefits programs and ensure competitive offerings.
  • Handle payroll inquiries and ensure compliance with wage laws.

Compliance and Risk Management

  • Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations (e.g., FMLA, ADA, EEOC).
  • Conduct regular audits of HR processes to minimize legal and financial risks.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential employee records.

HR Technology and Systems

  • Manage HRIS platforms and ensure data accuracy.
  • Leverage technology to streamline HR workflows and reporting.
  • Train staff on HR systems and tools.

Mentorship and Leadership

  • Provide guidance to junior HR staff, fostering their professional growth.
  • Represent HR in cross-departmental projects and organizational initiatives.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to managers and executives.
