Job Description

  • Manage delivery of supplier requirements necessary to support all Policy Requirements and International Regulations.
  • Identification and reporting of the Connectors BU Supply Chain compliance against business and international requirements / regulations.
  • Ensure that the Connectors BU Supply Chain is meeting Smiths Environmental Social and Governance requirements.
  • Data analysis and identification of all suppliers that are in scope of applicable business / international policies and regulations.
  • Manage the collation and status reporting of all supplier requirements to ensure compliance with the Smiths Group Human Rights Supply Chain Due Diligence Policy i.e. Supplier Code of Conduct Ethics Questionnaires etc.
  • Manage the collation and analysis of supplier CMRT / EMRT declarations and identification of any noncompliance issues requiring corrective action.
  • Act as Connectors BU EcoVadis Platform key user to support the ongoing Supplier Onboarding Process and internal user requirements.
  • Ensure all highrisk suppliers and suppliers in scope of the Smiths Group Human Rights Supply Chain Due Diligence Policy are loaded into the EcoVadis platform registered and have submitted required information / compliance documents for ESG assessment and rating.
  • Define all suppliers in scope of the EU Deforestation Regulation (EUDR) and assess any risks associated with the Connectors BU supply chain.
  • Identify any suppliers within the Connectors BU supply chain that are in regions identified as high risk for violation against international Human Rights Law.
  • Support and cover for the Procurement Analyst as required i.e. Processing new supplier requests to ensure compliance with internal procedures.
  • Manage the information requests timely supplier responses and verification / uploading of data into the Global Tooling SharePoint to ensure the Connectors BU KPI of measuring progress against tool condition requests is achieved as planned.
  • Support the development and delivery of supplier corrective actions required to ensure compliance with all Global / Local Policy Requirements and International Regulations i.e. follow up on any supplier corrective actions to ensure timely delivery against agreed plans.
  • Develop management reports / dashboards for communicating compliance status and progress against planned activities for peer groups middle and senior management.
  • Support any other Continuous Improvement Activities or Strategic Procurement Projects as required. Build and maintain solid working relationships with all key stakeholders (internal and external)

Qualifications :

  • Good time management and organizational skills with the ability to work under pressure manage own workload with minimal supervision maintain accuracy and keep to agreed deadlines.
  • Experienced in Supplier and Key Stakeholder Relationship Management.
  • Proficient in data analysis and data manipulation analysis and visualization tools such as Excel and Power Bi.
  • Ideally Degree educated within Supply Chain or Business Administration.
  • Ideally experience in Supply Chain ESG Responsibilities and related issues such as human rights and social risks.
  • Ideally experience in using Procurement Software Tools and Systems.
