Job Description

  • Implement processes related to the assembly of optical and microelectronic modules such as: SMT flip chip assembly epoxy dispensing high accuracy diebonding wirebonding optoelectronic subassemblies (active and passive).
  • Program and maintain of highend automated assembly equipment (dispensers diebonders wirebonders opticalaligners etc.).
  • Support production activities on manufacturing processes.
  • Participate on equipment commissioning by doing Site Acceptance Tests and First Article inspections.
  • Contribute to research and development of new technologies by assessing design and processes for manufacturing.
  • Participate in New Product Introduction by building preliminary concepts and prototypes.
  • Monitor and deploy Statistical Process Controls.
  • Write manufacturing procedures.
  • Provide training to operators.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot assembly equipment.

 

 


Qualifications :

  • Diploma of college studies in mechanical engineering or equivalent.
  • 5 years experience in microelectronic manufacturing.
  • Knowledge of optoelectronic technologies an asset
  • Knowledge with SolidWorks.
  • Experience in programming highend automated assembly equipment (dispensers die bonders wirebonders optical aligners etc.).
  • Handson experience in handling bare dies or miniature components using tweezers microscopes camera systems etc.
  • Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and change priorities.
  • Ability to synthesize data and communicate results efficiently
