Job Description
- Implement processes related to the assembly of optical and microelectronic modules such as: SMT flip chip assembly epoxy dispensing high accuracy diebonding wirebonding optoelectronic subassemblies (active and passive).
- Program and maintain of highend automated assembly equipment (dispensers diebonders wirebonders opticalaligners etc.).
- Support production activities on manufacturing processes.
- Participate on equipment commissioning by doing Site Acceptance Tests and First Article inspections.
- Contribute to research and development of new technologies by assessing design and processes for manufacturing.
- Participate in New Product Introduction by building preliminary concepts and prototypes.
- Monitor and deploy Statistical Process Controls.
- Write manufacturing procedures.
- Provide training to operators.
- Maintain and troubleshoot assembly equipment.
Qualifications :
- Diploma of college studies in mechanical engineering or equivalent.
- 5 years experience in microelectronic manufacturing.
- Knowledge of optoelectronic technologies an asset
- Knowledge with SolidWorks.
- Experience in programming highend automated assembly equipment (dispensers die bonders wirebonders optical aligners etc.).
- Handson experience in handling bare dies or miniature components using tweezers microscopes camera systems etc.
- Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and change priorities.
- Ability to synthesize data and communicate results efficiently
