Inverter Commission and Test Engineer

What will you be doing 

Are you ready to be a part of shaping the future of electric vehicle technology ALTEN LTD is seeking an Inverter Commission and Test Engineer to join our expert automotive team. Youll be working handson with critical inverter technology ensuring top performance and reliability for tomorrows electric vehicles. Dive into a collaborative role where youll manage testing coordinate with technical teams and contribute to cuttingedge automotive projects.

Your main responsibilities will be: 

• Inverter Commissioning and Testing: Lead the commissioning of inverters on test rigs ensuring they operate at peak performance.
• Manage and Execute Test Plans: Design implement and manage detailed test plans monitoring and recording every step to ensure quality and compliance.
• Presenting Test Results: Analyze and summarize test results presenting findings and progress updates to stakeholders and team members.
• Team Coordination: Collaborate with software hardware ECU and rig engineers to ensure seamless test setup execution and reporting.
• Prioritizing Test Resources: Oversee and prioritize work for two fulltime test engineers ensuring focus on the most critical testing tasks.
• Compliance and Reporting: Ensure all test activities adhere to industry standards and document progress ensuring high standards are met.

Qualifications :

Experience skills and qualifications required: 

• Bachelors Degree in Engineering (Mechanical Electrical or related field).
• Experience with rig testing and commissioning: Especially within the automotive domain.
• Technical Skills in Inverter Testing: Understanding of inverters including setup testing and problemsolving.
• Test Plan Management: Ability to create monitor and report on structured test plans.
• Coordination and Communication: Excellent team coordination skills for working with various stakeholders.
